I guess that is about my only argument with Allah/ God and on Judgment Day I am sure He will call me up for it too . We pray so closely that you would touch. (Once I hit my head off Baby BILs bum praying behind him LOL should I delete that???? LOL....) But def praying behind themwhat is the harm.

I had my own battle here last Ramadan with my SILs.....During Ramadan the boys all pray Maghrib together. My H. assumed the girls did too....uh uh...they all pray seperatley Hello!!!! I gave up on that daily battle, but I told my H, and well for the first time in the history of the family we all prayed as a family....Then they started waining off....But not Hanna and Me. Even when H. was away I still prayed in congregation. MY PROTEST LOL Baby steps. I want to pray in the mosque but there is no prayer room....should I start an inciddent/protest and pray behind the men....hmmmmmmm I am not THAT BRAVE ...YETTTTTT.....

K xxxxKhedegahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00503200376716836875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6919835247803556930.post-53218278980973648842010-05-24T20:12:42.829+02:002010-05-24T20:12:42.829+02:00I have mixed feelings about the protests and about...I have mixed feelings about the protests and about segregation of the sexes. I admit that as an American and a feminist to boot, it rubs me the wrong way when men act as if having contact with women will give them the cooties. But I don't think I have enough guts to make my misgivings public by protesting at a mosque. For one thing, I don't like confrontation. The ones who are doing the protests must thrive on it and/or are very brave. the concept of segregation is so ingrained in Islam that it seems impossible to change. But maybe in order to have as pure an Islam as possible, we need to change it. Because I find it difficult to believe that Allah sees women as second-class citizens as some men seem to.Ellen Keimhttp://www.femagination.comnoreply@blogger.com
