His brand of rock-blues hit you where you lived when you listened to him.He played with some of the biggest people in the music industry .People like Muddy Waters , David Bowie , Jackson Browne , B.B.King, Stevie Wonder,Eric Clapton ,and the one and only Joe Cocker . Fitz & Dizzyspells AND Take Me To The River

I saw Andrew Bird on David Letterman's show the other night (Jan.27, 2009) and loved him . His song "Fitz & Dizzyspells" was reminiscent of punk , in the style of David Bryne of The Talking Heads fame from the 1970-80's .
