I remember wanting those boots more than a candy bar . I thought I might die from sheer happiness when they were given to me as a surprise present .I wore them in the summertime with shorts and little tops that did NOT match the boots at all , lol . My mother would try her best to get me to wear sandles , but I never would .
I cried when I had to stop wearing them because my feet had out grown them .I kept them hidden at the back of my closet for many years long after I had to stop wearing them .Every once in a while I would drag them out to hold them close , like long lost friends .
